Summer pavilion. Early C18. Probably for Nathaniel Payler. Brick in Flemish bond, lead roof. Square on plan. Single storey, single bay. Raised quoins. Pedimented central section, which breaks forward has 4 steps to half-glazed door with thick glazing bars beneath radial fanlight with brick arch and massive stepped keystone, rusticated brickwork to lintel level and recessed panels to spandrels. Uneven 15-pane sash to right return in raised brick surround. Moulded timber cornice. Ogee-shaped roof surmounted by small ogee-shaped dome with weather-vane.
