FEWSTON HARDISTY HILL SE 15 NE (east side, off) Blubberhouses 2/41 Barn and stable range approximately 50 metres south-east of Hardisty House GV II

Barn and stable range. Mid C18 with C19 addition and alterations in 1928 (stable door lintel raised and reslated). Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 4 bays with added bay left. Quoins. Main range: cart entrance with double board doors, quoined jambs and segmental arch bay 3; byre door with quoined jambs tied into the building quoins far right. Bay 1: external steps to hay loft door with quoined jambs, dog kennel beneath steps. Bay 2: stable door with long and short jamb stones, window to left, square ventilated window above. Interior: 2 king-post trusses with splayed struts, and 2 queen-strut trusses. Added bay left: C20 sliding door, square pitching door above. Shaped kneelers, gable coping.
