GREAT TIMBLE COOPER LANE NORTH YORKSHIRE HARROGATE 5338 SE 15 SE (east side) 6/49 Barn south of Gill Beck Bridge - II
Barn and cart-shed. Early C19. Coursed, squared gritstone with horizontal tooling, graduated stone slate roof. 4 bays with outshut bay 1 . Cart entrance bay 2 with flat arch of splayed voussoirs, byre door to right, 4 rows of narrow vents or putlog holes bays 3 and 4. Outshut, right return: round-arched cart entrance, one door remaining. Right return to barn: 3 doors with tie-stone jambs and small vents over the lintels , circular opening in gable, vents as front. Left return: circular opening and vents as right gable. Interior: 7 queen-strut roof trusses; probably original timberwork to byre and hay loft at east (right) end.
