HIGH AND LOW BISHOPSIDE Pateley Bridge HIGH STREET (south side) No 42, The Pateley Club

(Formerly listed as Nidderdale Conservative Club, HIGH STREET)

GV II House. Dated 1664 with C18 and C19 alterations. Rendered stone with graduated stone slate roof. Three storeys, two bays. Plinth. To left a board door in chamfered stone surround with four-centred arched lintel inscribed "HW 1664". To right three late C19 canted bay windows with segment headed sashes in pilastered surrounds below hipped roofs. First floor: band, raised quoins to right-hand side, two four-pane sashes in plain raised stone surrounds. Second floor: right-pane side-sliding sashes in plain raised stone surrounds. Eaves band. End stacks.
