House and barn. Mid-late C17 house, restored and with additions 1985, mid C18 barn. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. House of 2 storeys and 4 bays with projecting 3-storey porch bay 3 and added bay to left, barn of 3 bays. House: quoins to right, chamfered plinth. Porch: 6- panel door in quoined surround with incised lintel; corbels to projecting first floor and stressed quoins; 3-light recessed-chamfered mullion window to first and second (attic) floors, the top window with stepped lights; shaped kneelers and gable coping with ball finials. Main range: windows, ground floor, bay 1: inserted 2-light window in plain stone surround: bays 2 and 4: 5-light recessed-chamfered mullion windows. First floor: bay 1: round-headed light; bays 2 and 4: recessed-chamfered mullion windows. Central and end stacks. Additional bay to left has quoins to left and shaped kneeler with ball finial and gable coping probably reused from house. Barn: central cart entrance with quoined jambs and segmental arch. Byre door in quoined surround with plain lintel far right; square 6-pane window between. Shaped kneeler, ball finial, gable coping (probably reused from house main range) to right. Single-storey lean-to addition to right. Interior not inspected at resurvey.
