Friends' Meeting House, formerly part of school. Circa 1800. Possibly originally the stable for the house (former School East Central Building, qv). Coursed, squared tooled stone with plinth; graduated Lakeland slate roof. 1½ storeys, 2 bays visible on front. At right an elliptical carriage arch with small window above. 2 large windows at left, one a sash, the other a C20 pivoted casement, both with glazing bars, keystones and projecting cills. North elevation 4 bays to east; west part behind archway completely glazed. Interior was converted to teaching space.
