EAST ROUNTON EAST ROUNTON NZ 40 SW (west side) 8/14 Corner House - II Estate house. 1905, dated on ceramic plaque with initials H2FB by George Jack for Sir Hugh Bill. Pebble-dashed on brick. Pantiled roof with brick stacks. Picturesque. Two storeys. 3-bay centre and lower, set-back one-bay wings. Small extruded open porch on right. Ground floor 2 and 3-light sashes in main block, casements in wings. First floor 2 and 3-light casements breaking eaves; all windows have glazing bars. Hipped roof extending into catslides with small dormers at sides. Tall, corniced chimneys with rebated angles. Plaque in round-arched recess of central window.
