GREAT AYTON A173 NZ 50 NW (north side, off) 6/31 Barn and cartshed to north of Winley Hill Farmhouse GV II

Barn and cartshed. Late C18 or early C19. Dressed stone and brick. Roofs renewed in concrete tile with stone ridge coping; (pantiles on pigsty). L-plan barn with cartshed adjoining to west. Plain boarded openings. South end of barn is red brick (possibly older) and holds a pent 2-cell pigsty with arched feeding chutes to the exercise yards. Hipped roof. Six-bay segmental-arcaded cartshed, the arches partly filled. Included for group value.
