NORTHALLERTON, HIGH STREET (east side, off), Small coach house to the east of No 84 High Street

(Formerly listed as Small coach house approximately 40 metres east of No 84 High Street)

Coach house to No 84 (qv), now workshop. c1754 with later alterations. Probably by John Carr of York for Mr D Mitford (as No 84, qv). Painted brick in English garden wall bond, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. The ground floor has been altered and now has C20 casement windows below first-floor sill band. First floor: recessed Diocletian panel flanked by blind oculi. Eaves band and coping forming pediment. In centre of ridge, wooden louvred vent.
