south of hall.

Ha-ha. C18 and late C19 with C20 repairs. Brick C18 work of thin dark red brick in
English bond, C19 work of red brick in English garden wall bond with a top course of
headers. Sweeps round from north-east corner of hall buildings and along the south
front with a projecting curve in front of the hall. The curve is late C19 (O S map)
as also top courses of rest and parts of western portion. Towards west end of
southern portion wall is broken by steps up to terrace flanked by coped wall and
with C19 gate (not of special interest). Included for group value.
