Farmhouse. Mid C18 with early Cl9 alterations. Red-brown brick in Flemish
bond with pinkish brick in English garden wall bond to right, 1st floor; stone
slate roof. Lobby-entry plan, 2 rooms deep. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Plinth.
Doorway in bay 3 in later stepped gabled porch. 16-pane sashes under flat
gauged brick arches. 5-course lst-floor band. Straight joint on 1st floor
between bays 3 and 4. Stepped and dentilled eaves. End and central stacks,
rebuilt. Rear: roof line lower. Interior: closed-string backstairs have bul-
bous turned balusters. Large-scantling beams with traces of chamfers and stops.
