Wandell House
II
House. Early-mid C19. Pale brown local brick with red brick dressings. Pantile
roof with stone coping and kneelers. End stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Ground
floor: painted plinth. Three recessed segmental arches with stucco impost blocks
containing the central 6-panel door under oblong fanlight and the 12-pane sashes in
flush wood architraves. Above, 6-pane squat sashes. Gauged brick flat arches to
all openings. Stepped and cogged eaves. Extension of one bay to right in same
materials with matching windows and dentilled eaves.
