Cottage with stable adjoining. Mid C18. Red-brown local brick, some coursed squared sandstone to rear and sandstone alternating block quoins. Swept pantile roof with rendered raised verges, chimneys to end, ridge and rear front eaves to left end. Two storeys, 3 bays. Gable-end to road. Yorkshire sashes under flat brick arches except for window to left which appears to replace a former end entrance. Entrance 2nd bay from right has 6-panel door in simple wood architrave. 1st floor band. Yorkshire sashes above. Stepped eaves. Stable: coursed rubble sandstone with brick dentilled eaves. Swept pantile roof with end stack. Single storey. Stable door and Yorkshire sash. Abutted by later building to south which is not of special interest.
