Details
THORNE SELBY ROAD SE 61 NE (east side) 3/109 Chatterton Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early C18, altered C20. Red brick partly rebuilt in C20 brickwork, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 windows to 1st floor, continuous outshut to rear. Right part of facade has rebuilt brickwork with door in wooden porch under casement on left of a 4-pane sash on each floor. Left part of facade has two 4-pane sashes beneath plat band, similar lst-floor windows. Tabled eaves courses to roof with shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings. Brick end stacks and similar ridge stack to left of porch, Rear: extended outshut on right has tumbled-brick verge. Interior: bressumer beams over left end and central fireplaces; one brick smokehood visible at lst-floor level.
