HALL LANE (north-east side)
Curtain wall to grounds of Bramwith Hall including gatepiers to northern pedestrian entrance
GV
II
Wall and gatepiers. Early C19. Coursed squared limestone facing road, red brick facing the garden; ashlar copings. Wall lines Hall Lane to south-west of Bramwith Hall (q,v.) with an altered vehicle entrance opposite the house, it continues north-east in a curve to line the south side of the driveway that gives access to the house and its associated farmbuildings, opposite the north-west-facing facade of the house are two gatepiers with C20 wall and gate set between. The wall is approximately 2 metres in height and has thin copings which sweep up to the gatepiers to north-west of the house, these are set forward and have plain blocking stones and large ball finial, and flank a C20 wrought-iron gate set in rendered-brick panel.
The later section of wall continuing south-east from SK62381153 is not of special interest.
