10/113 Barn immediately to south-east of Watchley Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. cl7, extended and heightened in early C18. Rubble limestone, stone slate roof. Tall single-storey building of 5 bays (internal). Large quoins. Earlier part to left has blocked, quoined doorway with arched lintel. Blocked waggon entrance to later part on right has cambered, wood lintel. Shaped kneelers and gable copings. Rear: C19 waggon entrance with segmental arch. Left return: walling clearly indicates heightening of eaves.
Interior: collared, principal-rafter trusses. Included for group value.
