Farmhouse. Probably early C18, altered early C19. Rubble limestone, stone
slates to main house and to eaves courses of pantile-roofed part on left.
2 storeys (left part lower) partial outshut to rear; 1:2 1st-floor windows.
Large quoins. Horizontally-sliding sashes with glazing bars with projecting stone
sills and plain lintels. Main house to right has central, panelled door in
bonded, ashlar surround with plain lintel. Flanking windows on each floor, that
to ground-floor right with later casement. Hexagonal light over door has casement.
Shaped kneelers, gable copings. End stacks rebuilt in yellow brick. Lower part
to left has door within C20 conservatory and window to each floor on right. Old
doorway (from farmyard) set down to left has chamfered, quoined surround and shaped
soffit to lintel; 2 blocked slit vents over. Left return has external stone steps
and evidence of raised eaves in gable walling.
