II
Bridge. c1800. Deeply-coursed, dressed sandstone. 2 segmental arches springing
from central and side piers which break forward. Angled cutwaters to midstream
pier. Angled wing walls have matching end piers. Continuous band rises to
centre of bridge as do parapet copings. Spans the River Dearne and is partly in
the parish of Dearne.
