6/19 Outbuilding approximately 15 metres 5.6.68 to south of Hickleton House (formerly listed as Barn S. of Hickleton House)
GV II
House now outbuilding. Mid C17, heightened. Rubble sandstone, stone slate eaves courses to pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4 windows to 1st floor. Quoins. Original doorway to left has chamfered, quoined surround with triangularly- arched soffit to lintel. Door to far left in altered surround; another blocked door to right flanked by later door openings. lst-floor windows have casements within altered double-chamfered surrounds. Shaped kneelers, square-cut gable copings. External end stack to right has offsets on rear face and rebuilt brick, shaft. Included for group value.
