CHEAP STREET 1. 1625 (North East Side) No 85 (Formerly listed as Premises occupied by F E Milward) ST 6316 1/65 28.11.50. II GV 2. The Cheap Street front and part of the Long Street front are of C19 stone-work, cleaned, restored and re-roofed in mid C20. 2-storey 1-window bay front to Cheap Street. Splayed oriel window on 1st floor. Plate-glass shop front below which continues round with Long Street. Front to Long Street has 2 gabled dormers. On 1st floor 3 modern mullioned windows, two with transomes. Blocked older cellar opening with mullion. To east in Long Street a lower C17 range retaining at left hand part or whole of a 2-storey 5-light bay of which the right hand end is splayed. Moulded stringcourses. To right hand a new or restored 3-light mullioned window with old drip mould on ground floor; on lst floor, a sash window 3 Panes wide. Tile roof continuous with premises occupied by Henry Durrant Antiques.
Nos 73 to 85 (odd) form a group.
