Public House. Circa 1500 and later. Rendered timber frame with an applied
imitation frame to front. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys. C20 fenestration.
Full height gabled extension to rear. One off-centre axial stack and one off-centre axial stack and one
C18 added gabled-end stack. C20 extensions to side and rear. Timbers of
heavy scantling with wide chamfers and stepped stops. One crown post roof
truss with only small section of polygonal base and shaft visible. It formed
centre truss of a 2 bay first floor room. Arch braces and jowled wall posts.
