BARRINGTON THE GREEN, SP 2012-2112 Little Barrington Village 11/85 Mullions (formerly listed as Nos 65 and 66) 23.1.52 GV II Pair of cottages, now one house. C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof with ashlar stacks and one concrete block stack imitating ashlar. Long rectangular plan. Left-hand cottage; 1½ storeys with twin gables each with a C20 two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement. Four 2-light stone- mullioned casements to the ground floor. Right-hand cottage; l½ storeys with two C20 slate hung roof eaves dormers. Both dormers with 2-light wooden casements. Two 2-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods to the ground floor. C20 plank door with fillets at centre of facade, gabled canopy with moulded margin supported on moulded stone brackets. Axial and gable-end stacks (restored C20) with squared-off cappings and skirtings. Interior not inspected.
