II
Country house, C18. Colourwashed brick, hipped roof of black glazed pantiles. Two storeys. H-shaped plan. Facade of five bays, symmetrical : sashes with glazing bars. Central doorway with open pediment on fluted pilasters; semi- circular fanlight with radial glazing bars. Chimney stacks on rear wall of front range. Two storey rear range with steeper pitch roof and hipped projections to east and west. Fenestration a mixture of casements and sashes with glazing bars; some C20 casements in projecting wings. Large axial stacks on ridge line. Large stacks on east and west sides of wings. North elevation double pile with twin hipped ends : two entrance doors, 2 and 3- light casements with segmental heads.
