HALVERGATE TUNSTALL STREET TG 40 NW 4/68 Manor House. G.V. II Farmhouse dated 1783 built of red brick with pantiled roof. 2 storeys with 2 storey rear outshut and 2, 2 storey hipped rear wings. Facade 3 windows. Off centre 6 panel entrance door. Timber doorcase with moulded architrave with key block and pediment on consoles. C20 3-light casements, those at ground floor level with transoms. All in original openings with segmental brick arches. Brick dentil eaves. Parapet gables and end stacks. Interior mainly C20. Some C18 2 panel and 6 panel raised and fielded doors. Relocated early C19 fireplace in ground floor east room with cast iron grate. C18 'bee hive' bread oven with wrought iron door in kitchen. Butt purlin roof. Inscribed on east gable B.F. 1783.
