Service courtyard, comprising stables, former detached kitchen and boundary wall. C18 and C19. Red brick; hipped slate and pantiled roofs to stables, red pantiled roof to kitchen. Stable block and coach house on north side with hipped slate roof. Two pairs of double door openings set centrally. Secondary door and window openings with semi-circular heads. Tripartite casements with glazing bars. One blind opening at south west corner. Brick dentil eaves. Central clock cupola with ogee lead-covered dome on turned balusters. Stables to south with steep hipped roof of black glazed pantiles. Alternating door and window openings with semi-circular heads; tripartite casements with glazing bars. Brick dentil eaves. Former kitchen with gabled pantiled roof. Ground floor sash with glazing bars in south gable. Chimney stack east of ridge line. Interior contains large oven, fireplace and copper intact. Drainage channel across floor. Buildings linked by red brick boundary wall with half-round coping. Included for group value.
