Former school and adjoining school house. Mid C19. Limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof to main body; red tile to porch; ashlar stack and squared and dressed limestone stack. Single bell hanging (partially restored C20 with artificial stone). 'T'-shaped plan to main body with small extension at the north west. School house: 1 1/2 storeys. South (entrance) front: two gabled half dormers to the school house (left); 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned casements. C19 plank door within a flat-chamfered stone surround with a relieving arch to the school house; two tall 2-light stone-mullioned casements to the school room; gabled porch with diagonal buttresses and a C19 plank door within a flat- chamfered pointed-arched surround far right giving access to the school room. Three-light stone-mullioned casement with a relieving arch at the east gable end. Gable-end stack with a deep moulded capping to the school house; lateral bell-hanging/chimney to the school room. Interior not inspected. Some slates missing from roof and school house chimney stack in a poor state of repair at the time of resurvey (October 1986).
