NU 22 SW CRASTER DUNSTAN

3/49 Attached garden wall to east of Dunstan Hall GV II

Garden wall and adjacent footings. Wall c.1830 but built on early medieval footings. Rubble. Wall 2 metres high joins north-east corner of main block of Dunstan Hall and runs to north-east corner of garden, containing one boarded door. Early footings incorporated in base of wall and extending to south.

The footings are considered by Honeyman to be part of the C13 house of the Dunstans.

Attached lower wall alongside road is not of special interest.
