SO 83 SE CHACELEY CHACELEY VILLAGE 2/15 Grain House Cottage II
Detached cottage. C17 and C20. Square-panelled timber-framing with painted and unpainted brick infill, brick plinth. Painted brick extensions. Red tile roof probably formerly thatched. Brick stack. Rectangular plan, formerly one up, one down. Single bay, 2-storey C20 extension with projecting stack to left gable-end. Single storey C20 lean-to extension to right gable-end not of special interest. Main body; 1½-storeys, two 2-light C20 wooden casements to ground floor. C20 three-light steel casement in right gable-end. C19 plank door off-centre left under gabled canopy with pantile roof and decorative weather-boarded front front supported on wooden posts. Interior not inspected, reputed to contain moulded plasterwork probably now covered up.
