Details
ICOMB ICOMB VILLAGE SP 22 SW 2/206 The Old Post House GV II House in row. Late C17-early C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone and sandstone. Concrete tile roof with ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan. Two storeys and attic lit by a single C20 two- light dormer. Symmetrical, two-windowed facade lit by 3-light wooden casements with timber lintels and horizontal glazing bars. Central, wide early-mid C18 door formerly with 6 fielded panels (upper two panels now glazed) and timber lintel. Stairs projection rear right with two single-light windows (one to each floor). The ground floor window has a hollow-chamfered stone surround. The upper floor window has a flat-chamfered stone surround with leaded panes. Gable-end stacks (one now reduced to a stump) one with a moulded capping. Interior not inspected.
