SP 1635 6/143 BLOCKLEY PARK ROAD

No 21 and Front Railings GV II

Early C19, 2 storey house in coursed and dressed rubble; slate roof with coped verges and footstones. Four windows, 16-pane sashes. Modern panelled door to right of centre with pretty wrought iron porch (probably a modern adaptation of earlier arrangement, see traces on wall). Boundary railings to roadline enriched fleur-de-lys heads and urn standards with ornamental dog-leg stanchions; gate has enriched lower panel. Flanking abutment walls about 3 or 4 ft high about 7 ft long to each side.
