The Old Rectory
GV II
Stables and coach house Mid C18. Narrow coursed, squared stone,
ashlar dressings, stone slate roof. Two rooms, one lofted.
Double, boarded door on right, elliptical head, stone voussoirs,
slightly projecting keystone. Boarded stable door left end front,
chamfered arris, stone lintel. Oval window above; parapet gables.
Left return semi-circular window centre of ground floor, circular
above, both ashlar dressings.
Interior: stone paving to coach house; tie-beam and collar
trusses, 2 pairs butt purlins, plank ridge. Stone-sett paving to
stable, plastered walls, 3 recesses on gable wall, semi-circular
heads, loft over. Forms group with Old Rectory (q.v.).
