Former farmhouse, now house. Late C16-mid C17, C18 and C19.
Close-studded timber-framing with bracing and square-panelled
timber-framing with rendered infill, gable ends rendered, blue lias
plinth with sandstone capping. Red tile roof, brick stacks.
'U'-shaped C16-C17 main body, with C18 square timber-framed infill
between projecting wings. C19 lean-to wash house/bakehouse
extensions onto right gable-end. Three-storey main body with
cellar under north end. West front; gabled 3-storey wings
project forward right and left. Plank door at centre of left-hand
gable with single pitched plank over. Wide C18 six-panelled door
with upper 4 panels glazed at centre of C18 infill between
projecting gables. Gabled latticework porch. Four-light double-
chamfered, stone-mullioned cellar window in east front.
Projecting triple right gable-end stack, axial stack and lateral
stack from right-hand wall of left-hand wing.
Interior; flat-chamfered beams with ogee stops. C18 corner
cupboard with fielded panels. Washing copper and bread oven in
situ in C19 lean-tos. Roof; queen posts and queen struts.
