No 1 Twyning Green Cottages and No 2 Twyning Cottages

Two cottages, semi-detached C16. Square-panelled timber framing
with rendered and painted brick infill. Concrete tile roof with
brick stacks. Rectangular plan. C20 painted brick extension at
rear not of special interest. 1½ storeys. Upper floor lit by six
2-light C20 dormers. Two and 4-light C20 wood casements to the
ground floor. C20 'stable' type doors to both cottages. Full
cruck truss visible in left gable end. Large projecting stack at
right gable end. Single axial stack.
Interior of No 1 contains at least 3 full cruck trusses. Tie beams
with runout stops. Interior of No 2 not inspected.
