GV II
Barn and open-fronted store. North-west end late C18 with C19
extensions. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, ashlar quoins,
concrete tile and slate roof. Barn: rectangular with projecting
porch towards left end, flanked by C19 lean-tos with rounded
corners. Main body extended right C19. Rectangular open fronted
store set back on left. Plank pitching door in gable end of C19
extension right. Stable door front right, double plank door left
with wood lintel, similar door opposite. Slit vents over stable
door and in right gable end. Double door to projecting porch with
pigeon loft over, double width opening and triangular ventilation
slits in opposite wall. Stable doors to lean-to extensions either
side of projecting porch. Open-fronted store left, one storey and
attic lit by 2 roof dormers. Double doors below left-hand dormer
3 open bays divided by timber supports right. Plank door far
right. Flat gable-end coping with roll saddles to barn and store.
Barn interior: 4 bays with original collar and tie trusses, C20
queen post trusses at right end.
