9/52 No. 25, including attached outbuilding on right II Detached cottage, with attached outbuilding on right. Probably early C18. Cob walls - front wall faced in brick. Thatched roof, one brick stack at left end and one at junction with outbuilding. House, one storey and attic: barn single-storey. House has ledged door with small glass panel in open brick porch with lean-to roof. Ground floor has 2 casements with centre horizontal bar. Attic has 2 dormers with similar casements. Barn has ledged door, and one casement - formerly with lead lights. Later single-storey rear lean-to, part under thatched catslide roof, part under tiled roof. Internally, some exposed ceiling beams. The outbuilding at one time used as doctor's surgery. (R.C.H.M. Monument 14. Dorset Vol V).
