FELTON MAIN STREET NU 1800 (East side) 12/110 No. 20 including shop and post office II

House with shop fronts. Early C18, with front remodelled and rear wing added in early C19; shopfronts probably mid-C19. Squared stone front; plinth, returns and rear large coursed rubble. Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Plinth, ground-floor sill band. 3 steps up to boarded door in bay 2, between 3-pane shop fronts, originally unglazed; flanking pilasters with moulded caps and bases, moulded cornices, and old roller shutters still in position. 5 steps up to vertical-panelled door in bay 4. 12-pane sash windows. Raised reverse-stepped gable coping; corniced right end stack with rendered heightening. Returns show small attic windows. Wing to rear right shows various sash windows.
