House, mid C18. Rubble with roughly cut dressings; C20 pantile roof with
two courses of stone slates to eaves. Main part two storeys, two wide bays.
Central old plank door inside early C20 gabled porch with depressed round
arch; built in above arch are a stone dated 1836 with chip-carved panel and
a triangular slab with worn relief cross, possibly medieval. 20-pane Yorkshire
sashes, with external shutters, to ground floor, 12-pane Yorkshire sashes
with timber lintels above, all with slightly projecting sills. Coped gables
with rebuilt end stacks. To right, former coach house has C20 small-paned
casements and coped gable.
INTERIOR: Kitchen fireplace has chamfered stone surround, parlour fireplace
round-arched raised stone surround with moulded bases, imposts and keystone.
Old ceiling beams.

Originally Bat House, a farmhouse.
