11/166 The Thatched Cottage (formerly listed as 31.7.61 "Cottage south of Fairings 30 yards north of Everetts, on west side of road")

Terraced cottage. C17, but considerably restored c1980. Rubble stone walls, thatched roof, brick end stacks. One storey and attics. C20 ledged door. Ground floor has two 2-light stone mullioned windows with casements with centre horizontal bar. Attic has a double dormer with 2 C20 casements with centre horizontal bar. Internally, some exposed ceiling beams (RCHM Monument 10. Dorset. Vol. I)
