Details
BLEDINGTON CHURCH ROAD SP 2422 (east side) 12/56 Maylyns (formerly listed as Cottage 30 yard 25.8.60 S.E. of Church, on corner of street GV II House at end of row. Late C17-early C18 incorporating substantially altered C19 cottage. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, outshut at rear partly brick, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks, one repaired and rendered C20. Rectangular plan comprising C17-early C18 block right with C19 cottage attached left, outshut at rear former. Late C17-early C18 part, 1 1/2 storeys, upper floor lit by 2 Cotswold dormers with 2-light stone-mullioned casements, 2 and 4-light stone-mullioned casements to ground floor. All windows double-chamfered with stopped hoods. C19 part 2 storeys, two 2- light casements with glazing bars to upper floor, C20 part-glazed plank door lower right with small single light window right and 2- light casement with glazing bars left, C19 plank door with decorative hinges and thumb latch far left, garage door right. All ground floor openings with cambered heads. Gable-end stacks to late C17-early C18 part, axial stack to C19 part. Interior not inspected.
