LOWER SLAUGHTER SP 1622 10/33 The Manor Cottage 25.8.60 II -
C16 heightened and remodelled. Circa 1700, but largely rebuilt and extended in the late C18 or early C19. Coursed rubble with Cotswold stone roof. Two storeys, three windows. The ground floor has two modern doorways on left, one with dripmould. Two 3-light casements with stone mullions, the left hand one with dripmould. This would appear to be the original part of the house. Three 2-light stone mullioned casements above. Two ashlar ridge stocks. A typical example of a unified character being given to a much altered building.
