SEATON DELAVAL A 190 NZ 37 NW (North side) The Avenue 5/71 Avenue Farmhouse North GV II Farmhouse, late C19 remodelling of single-storey C18 building. Snecked tooled stone with tooled-and-margined dressings; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, slightly irregular. 5-panel door and small casement window in right bay, 16-pane sashes to left and 12-pane shortened sashes above. Coped left gable; stepped-and-corniced left end stack, rebuilt rendered ridge stack. Left return shows 4-pane sash with 9-pane sash above. Rear elevation shows rubble of C18 house on ground floor.
Included for group value.
C20 flat-roofed extension to rear left is not of special interest.
