Pair of cottages. C17 restored C20. Square-panelled timber framing with tension bracing; some areas painted to imitate timber framing; ground floor appears to be encased in random squared and dressed limestone; concrete tile roof, probably formerly thatched; C20 coursed squared and dressed limestone stacks with finely dressed quoins. 'L'-shaped overall plan. 1½ storeys. Roadside front: two C20 two-light casements and a C20 single-light casement to the ground floor of No 18; central C20 plank door with single-light casement above. Gable with C20 three-light casement upper right; hung concrete tile above. Two C20 two-light casements with glazing bars to the left gable end which is painted to imitate timber framing. Gable end of No 19 projects forwards far right with plank door to the ground floor; C20 two-light casement to the gable. West-facing elevation: two C20 three-light casements with timber lintels. Gable with C20 three-light casement with hung concrete tile decoration upper right. Half hip to gable end of No 18. Axial stacks.
