WARGRAVE MILLEY LANE SU 87 NW (south side) Hare Hatch 3/7 Hill House (formerly listed as The Hill) 26.1.67 G.V. II House. C18 with late C18 alterations. Brick with moulded brick cornice string. Parapet with stone coping to hipped old tile roof with leaf ridges. 2 storeys. North front: main block of 3 bays, the centre bay a half octagon projection with cornice carried round and stone blocking course, stone finials at angles of which only one remains. 2 narrow upper windows, one on each angle face, ground floor has one window on each side and entrance set back behind Doric columns on brick plinths to corners. Under is a 6-panelled door, arched radiating and wreathed wrought iron and cast lead fanlight in wood doorcase with panelled reveals, panelled pilasters, broken entablature and open pediment. B.O.E.
