1/36 The Village Pub (formerly listed as Greyhound Inn)



Formerly 3 cottages, converted to an inn. Late C171early C18. Random coursed rubble stone, stone slate roof with 3 stone stacks. Single storey and attic. Ground floor has four 2-light windows in left hand wing, formerly 2 doors on inside, windows on outside, and glazed door and 3-light window in slightly higher right hand wing. Four gabled dormers on eaves, 2 to each wing. Windows of C20. Interior has several plain chamfered and unstopped beams remaining on ground floor, and also has chamfered joists in the central part. Large timber bressumer to fireplace using right hand end stack. Three-light window in this section still has internal wooden shutters.
