5/337 2 adjoining barns to north of Charlton Court Farm, in farmyard.

GV II

Two adjoining barns, to left probably early C17, to right C18. Rubble stone with quoins, Cotswold stone-slate roof. Barn to left: 5 bays with braced collar beam trusses and 2 trenched purlins (some renewed timber from repairs of 1970's). Projecting central opposed cart entry, with timber boarded gables. Square pitch-holes on east wall and north wall to right, slit vents elsewhere and small square vents on west wall. Barn to right: 6 bays with collar and tie beam trusses and 2 trenched purlins (also with some renewed timbers). Opposed cart entry to right but projecting gable only to front, also timber boarded. Slightly lower roof level. Between the 2 cart entries on south side is stone-tiled lean-to with access to left-hand barn through stone Tudor archway, probably re-used, similar to several other re-used Medieval features in the area. Modern lean-to to rear, and to far left-hand corner.
