NEWTON-ON-THE-MOOR Al NU 10 NE (East side, off) 2/170 Outbuildings to north-east of Newton Low Hall GV II

Outbuildings, late C18. Squared tooled stone; Scottish slate roofs. L-plan. North range 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays; boarded door with overlight in left bay with 6-pane casement and altered sash to right and small part-slatted windows above; coped gables. Left return shows part-slatted window and boarded opening in gable. East range single storey, 6 irregular bays. Left part has been 3-bay cartshed, with boarded door and 4-pane Yorkshire sash inserted in the blocked openings; right part shows 2 boarded doors and paired 6-pane casements. Roof hipped to right.

Altered pent extension at rear of north range is not of interest.
