Formerly Alnham Castle Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Early C18. Roughly-dressed stone. Roof has pantiles on front pitch and Welsh slates behind. One old brick ridge stack and 2 renewed end stacks.

2 storeys. 3 windows.

Cottage on left has boarded door to left under pantiled pent roof. 12-pane sash to right on ground floor, 6-pane sash above.

Cottage to right, 2 broad bays with central 6-panelled door. 12-pane sashes on ground floor, 6-pane sashes above.

C18 Newcastle fire insurance plate above door.

Steeply-pitched gabled roof with thin raised coping and reverse-stepped gables.

C18 outshut to rear.

Interior has old beams, several 6-panelled doors and one 2-panelled door. C18 roof timbers.
