Dwarf garden wall and gate piers to Nos. 2-10 (even) (Police Station)

Includes wall and piers to No.1A Milton Road.
Early C20 dwarf garden wall and gate piers in front of police station,
police houses, and probation office. Approximately 2 feet high with
semi-circular brick coping: square gate piers with pyramidal squint
brick tops. 4 bays facing Rectory Road returning north west to
approximately 2 metres high, stepped with rising ground. Similar top
but with semi-circular brick creasing course. On the left hand the
dwarf wall returns to Milton Road in a continuous semi-circular curve
and has 2 gate piers facing Milton Road. These are 3 wrought iron
gates which are probably later, with 3 scroll panels in each: all to
right of station entrance.
