Cottage once 2 dwellings. C17 origins, remodelled early C19. Timber-frame core encased in flint with brick bands and dressings, thatched roof. 3 bay and smoke/ passage bay C17 building with bay added to right and weatherboarded store added to left early C19. Garden front 1½ storey, 4 bays. C19 planked doors, with baf- fle entry between left bays, and in right centre bay, 3 C19 3-light casements. All openings have camber heads. Above left bays 3 1-light casements in eyebrow dormers. Roof hipped and swept down to left. Ridge stack above left door and at right end.
