Togston Hall

Garden wall. North wall late C18, extended late C19 or early C20. Brick
largely in stretcher bond; west part of north wall on stone rubble base;
rear face of west part of north wall squared stone, remainder mixed squared
stone and rubble. Curved section of wall, 3.5 metres high with flat coping,
joins south-east corner of house and holds segmental carriage arch with
alternating stone-and-brick surround. West part of main north wall has 3
doorways and blocked heating ducts, East wall has diagonally-boarded 2-panel
door under segmental head, at north end, and coping stepped on downhill section.
Attached farmbuildings to north of wall are ruinous and not of special interest.
